Pricing for custom signs

Our pricing is based on a simple square footage and material system

for most products. There is no per character charge under 36 characters

and only $2.00 per character after that. In general the characters need

to be at least an inch high, but some materials allow smaller features.

The base price (including 36 characters) is simply $50.00 per square

foot above 2 square feet. Smaller signs are priced similarly to our

standard signs here . We can currently offer this price for solid Black

Walnut, Cherry, or Honduras mahogany. Many other woods are

possible including Teak, Maple, Pines including weathered barn wood

and old beams, Oak, Redwood, and various exotics. It’s best to

discuss that with you as some woods are beautiful but unstable or

weather poorly. We can also carve urethane, MDF, and other synthetics.

We also can digitize or create artwork such as logos and the like

as long as it is carvable. In general simpler patterns

can be included at no extra charge , especially if they already exist

and can be emailed as a photograph or drawing. Custom graphic

design can also be done by some of our local artists or we can work

with yours.
